scary bug!

My Oh and I found this on the outside of the patio doors last night and had a good ten minutes of panic that it was some alien invader, evil, deadly insect. Then after extensive internet research it turns out its not. Apparantly its a scorpion fly and the bit that looks like a hideousliy poisonous sting is actually its....well.....'man bits' !

Anyway, thought I'd share as its impressively ugly!
