We have hens + 1 egg

Post: # 152781Post bodrighy »

At last we collected the 3 hens from our friendly farmer neighbour today.

Image Image Image Image Image

Her indoors has already named the big one Rosie..she seems to be the boss, and the smaller pale one is Libby (short for Liberty as she has alread shown her escapologist tendencies :brave: )

It took them asll of 3 minutes to com out of the coop and start scratching and taking food from the hand.

so do I as it cost me a grand total of £2.49 for a load of screws. Everything else is off freecycle or recycled from something else including an old boat. Maybe not as pretty as some but as it is hidden in the trees and the hens couldn't care less does it matter?

Great stuff. We had an egg in the crate by the time we got home with our hens!
