Free camp sites?

Post: # 152442Post Claripup »

Does anyone know of any free or very cheap campsites around northampton? We don't need an electric hook up or anything fancy, just somewhere to go for weekends with the dogs and walk a bit. It just seems silly to pay £30 a night when we don't use the facilities much and spend most of the day off site.

Thanks :flower:

Hi There,
Camping fees can be expensive but we have found that joining the camping and caravan club, although having an initial lay out...not tooo much, can often have many benefits and bring the cost down.
They also run a scheme called camping miles where you get points for nights stayed on club sites and then you get them back in the form of free nights stays after you ve collected so many (cant remembe the exact details)
The sites tend to be very well run and very friendly and adhere to all the rules strictly
Well worth it :flower:
