I dreamt a dream last night . . .

Post: # 150796Post frozenthunderbolt »

. . . a dream where i was one of several helping to mow a road with scythes, with a young chap driving a wagon that was collecting the grass. a road two carts wide and green and flat and straight as far as the eye could see.
I was happy and whole and conected. and then i woke up :pale:

Ha - sounds like you want out of the rat race altogether there!
I'm sure that somewhere there is an analysis of dreams about the never-ending road mind... I shall have to see if I can find it....

I can't remember the last time I had a dream :?
I'm not sure if that's a good thing or not..... :dontknow:

That sounds like a lovely dream. Working together with others for a common goal, not reliant on any technology more advanced than a scythe!

One of the most relaxing dreams I ever had was one where I died. Not the usual, think your gonna die then wake up, I actually died in the dream and it was incredibly peaceful.

The funniest dream i think I ever had was one where there was a flock of boxer dog puppies which flew using their ears!! :? Wonder what that one means!!!

It's probably quite a good thing, means you are sleeping soundly and waking up at the right time. I tend to only remember my dreams if we have stayed up to late and I am woken by the alarm clock in the morning.

I dream fantastically! I;ve dreamt about Ish and its members a couple of times too. Once i dreamt that i met Hedgewizard, and he lived in a 3rd floor flat and had a cow tied to the railings round the stairs...

That's funny!

I used to have a recurring dream where my mouth was totally full of broken glass... the more I spat out, the more there was... I'm sure there wouldn't have been a pleasant analysis of the meaning of it - since moving here though, I've not had it once that I can remember!
Mind you, I don't know if it was weight thing, but I also used to have a big sleep problem - I'd go to bed about 2 or 3... dream odd dreams, get up for a wee break about 4am-ish & then get up again at 6 or 7 & felt like rubbish most of the time.
Now I get to bed about 1am, fall asleep quite quickly, sleep very soundly & get up around 7am... ok I still need coffee to wake up, but I feel MUCH better.

I've had a similar dream to that Julie, but mine was that my teeth were falling out, but they kept falling out, the more I spat it out the more were there. :pale:
I discovered it is an insecurity dream, and I haven't had it now in a l-o-o-o-o-o-ng time

Oooh really? I quite often dream that my teeth are falling out or that I have a brace and alll the bits of metal are broken and I have to keep spitting them out.

So insecurity then, hmm need to give that one some thought.

Yep, I knew that 'teeth' dreams stem from a feeling of insecurity - but I never found one about glass... although I guess it's all related, with the mouth thing.
Life before Ireland meant that we were thinking of heading off to the lawyers & getting divorced - and life now means that we're not, so I expect that's why the dreams have stopped?
