I was wondering when you lot were going to start talking about all the snow you're supposed to be having!

We finally got a bit this afternoon - interspersed with sunshine. It's very odd. I'd quite like a good dollop of snow if only to see the looks on my ducks' faces when I let them out in the morning as they've never seen it before!

All day here it has been looking like icing sugar being sprinkled from the sky - it is looking very pretty on the field and trees, but not cold enough to lie on the roads - and 4 gritters with snow-plough attachments have passed the house today.

We've just watched the news about the chaos across the East of Ireland - Dublin on the news (nowhere else exists) and I have to say that hubby has been out in the garden all day in the sunny but nippy air, digging out the tractor track......

Enjoy your snow though - but keep it over your side
Brrrr!

Edited because I don't know my left from my right......

I'm not sure whats going on here! There was a slight dusting this morning and school shut - that meant no going to work for me and no going to school for my son. About an hour later my daughter - who's school was still open - arrived home! Guess what - it's raining! :?

We had some snow this morning (in North Wales), then it stopped and has been snowing since mid afternoon. The buses stopped running, so my hubby was lucky enough to get a lift from a colleague (car was sliding everywhere, apparently). This lady then had to leave her car in our village & was going to walk home to the next village, as the snow was worse up there.

Looks like I will have company at home tomorrow :hugish: , unless it all clears up.

I love the first picture Mrs Flibble, reminds me of seeing the children with their sleds this afternoon, they were so excited.

Red - how do you manage to have such clean looking sheep? The ones across the lane from me are very grubby with bits of fleece dangling, though maybe that's because they've just given birth! No seriously they are never creamy white like yours. And they're not cute looking like yours either.
