Thank you all for your best wishes. They must have worked as I feel miles better today. Just very tired but it was a good excuse for a day on the sofa with the cat and the TV.

Anyway, now I feel really guilty. After complaining about her on Thursday, I got home from work on Friday and she had left a message on my answering machine apologising for not being sympathetic - ahhhh!

So I went to see her yesterday and we had a lovely afternoon.

as for mums ,guess i`m the opposite,when my dd phones to say she`s poorly i start thinking and asking,are you coping?can you feed yourself and the kids?how are you managing,can i get you anything/etc etc,(the worrier i am!): it ends with her saying she`s ok,leave me be, i`m doing fine,
and so where do you go!your mum probally thinks all those things but knows you cope well!

you never know! the other day i sent my friend a bit of a ranty email saying i was upset that an old friend didnt have time for me anymore etc etc then literally two hours later he sent me a message saying how he was sorry he hadnt had the time for me!! so i panicked that i'd accidentally sent the email to him.....apparently not, just coincidence!
