Internet safety:

The self sufficientish forum is a very friendly online community, with like minded people sharing information, achievements, opinions and general chatter. It is worth remembering, however, just like any other forum on the internet, it is possible to come across someone who is not all they seem they are. Think carefully before giving personal information on yourself or family.

Keep personal information personal, and even though you want the world to know about your child/dog/giant parsnip, there might be people out there who want to know about them for different reasons (is there a word for vegetable fetish?!), so keep any identifiable information private.

Never post personal information to anyone unless you know them well. If you do share your email address, home address or other contact information, then self sufficientish.com cannot take any responsibility.

At the first sign of anything untoward, block the person involved and inform any mods.
If you feel that someone is a serious risk to yourself or others, please contact the appropriate authorities and keep any evidence.

If anyone has experienced anything on the site that makes them feel threatened or uncomfortable, please contact us. Either PM us (any one of us...all of us...) or send an email to admin@selfsufficientish.com.

SelfSufficientish will NOT advocate naming and shaming, or any behaviour whether it be on the boards, or by PM that makes members feel threatened or uncomfortable. We WILL ban any member found to be abusing either the boards, or PMs, or making personal attacks
