101 Uses For is popular and let's hope it stays that way. Our second book is presently called 101 tips for self sufficiency; we will certainly dip into this section for ideas. So post away and let's try and get at least one thread up to 101.

Thought I would do a bit of spring cleaning around the forum, so now cooking stuff is not in the swap shop area it has a place of its own. And also as I merged the seed swap with everything else swap it meant I could create a new topic and still keep the same amount.

I thought that we could have a go at making 101 uses for for all sorts of stuff and see if we can do what stew (muddypause) suggested and create a book by christmas.

Might end up falling flat on its face in which case I will get rid of this area and stick the posts in relevant places. Anyway lets see how we get on.

Can we do one for egg boxes? Seems that every neighbour,since finding out that I keep hens,is saving them for me and Ive got millions! Ive done the seed raising bit and made some into firelighters but theyre taking over now!!!
Now, what did I come in here for??????
