Re: So...Very...Hot...
42 degrees on the Costa Blanca today (and yesterday and the day before that and the day before that......)
This heat is getting to me and making me crabby (I've had a constant headache every afternoon when I wake up from my siesta - and I am drinking a ton of water).
Seems it is too hot everywhere.

Looked like it was going to be a mixture of drizzle and sunshine today but lo and behold as soon as I got ready to go to work at 4pm, the sun came out and it was unbelievable hot. And I have to wear a black uniform in a stifling shop. Not fun. Still though, work was quiet which was good as I did have a little headache.

We've had a storm here today - torrential rain and strong winds.
My courgettes will enjoy the drink and be marrows tomorrow.

Re: So...Very...Hot...
NO NO NO NO NO!
I'm coming to UK for three weeks to learn to drive.....I was hoping to get some relief from the heat. It is high 30s even up in the mountains, I've been sleeping with a fan pointed at my face. Not nice weather to have morning sickness in
.
It rained lightly for about 5 minutes at 3am the other night....I ran straight outside in the nuddy for a cool down
Pls pls pls can the UK's weather gods resume normal service and put on a bit of a chill, just most of august should be fine (with the exception of my friends wedding on the 28th when a nice 22 with a light breeze would be just about right). Thank you.

Re: So...Very...Hot...
Don't panic Clara you know that 3 days of hot weather in a row in the UK constitutes a 'heatwave'.
Can you really imagine it is going to last into August?
