How about a chatbox that people can use, we could set up chat sessions.
An open chatroom where people can join whenever they are in the mood (hit or miss) and along with that, particular times that are posted here.(with the timezones calculated along eventually, with it so others from out europe could easily join too.)

chats are incredibly hard to moderate (personal experience) and I'm not sure the voluntary mods and admin would like the hassle to be honest. I may be wrong, you never know.
