Live lawnmowers anybody?

Post: # 6478Post ina »

Seeing that so far nobody has taken me up on the offer of free sheep muck, here's the real thing instead - a lifelong supply of muck, plus lawn mower services for free...

Much to my regret, the folks I work for are giving up the breeding flock of Soay sheep. All the females and quite a few of the tups have found a good home on a smallholding nearby, but there are several tups left... (You only need so many males in a flock!)

They are certainly unusual, being a rare breed, and not quite like "normal" sheep. Somebody once said they were every sheepdog's nightmare... But our tups are relatively tame, as they've been handled quite a bit. Only problem - they are "proper" males, with all the attitudes (and sometimes smell) that brings with it. And they are various ages.

Anyway, I just thought I'd put them on here, you never know, maybe one of you had always dreamed of owning a Soay tup! It would be such a shame if they just had to be put down (not really worth it even to send them for slaughter).
