One of our pop-up adverts prompted me to look at this. For information ...

Raspberry ketone dietary supplements (you know - the ones which promise you an immensely less-curved tummy) can no longer be sold as such legally in the UK. This is because there is absolutely no evidence that they have any effect at all. There have been no clinical trials on humans, and of the two animal trials which were run, only one (on a sample of six mice - yes, SIX!) suggested that there may be a weight loss function.

Just thought I'd tell you.

I've never even heard of raspberry ketones.

Fortunately I'm of an age where a flat tummy is of no concern - I won't be wearing a bikini any time soon. Come to think of it I've never worn one. Obviously that was due to my ignorance of raspberry ketones!

Hmmmm - I wonder why I'm getting "have a wonderful flat belly" ads, never having needed to diet in my entire life. Oh - it's all OK now - it's been replaced by Filipino girlfriends (not that I've ever looked for a Filipino girlfriend either - or a caravan of any variety).

Why do I never see any Google ads for winemaking supplies or Anglo Saxon artworks, eh?

Yep - I have AdBlocker, but it's switched off for Ish so that I can click on all the ads every day and so convince Google that I'm a million people.

But I ain't clicking on Filipino girlfriends for ANYONE!

How do I switch it off for Ish? I'd like to click too - but not if I'm bombarded at every other place I visit!

All I get is funeral insurance..........

Well, it's Adblock Plus I'm using, which appears to work in just about any browser. It inserts an ABP icon into the top menu bar and, if you click on it, you'll be presented with a set of options. One of them is to disable Adblock only for the site you are on at the moment (ie it says "Disable on Selfsufficientish.com".
