Making an Oak King Crown

Post: # 289363Post sleepyowl »

I am organising the West Midlands Pagans into the Birmingham Pride March and we a going all Merry England and having an Oak King & a Holly King. I'm being the Oak King and need some ideas on how to make a crown that looks decent I have copper wire, ribbons & felt, I'm sure I could forage some willow but would not know whether the natural oak leaves would be full enough for Pride or would actually look regal enough or should I paint some card gold and make leaves out of that? Slightly panicking.

I'd go for the over-sized fake ones. Must be over-sized - show everyone who's king.

I agree - oversized and gold. Sounds like fantastic fun, I hope you have a great day!
