How many resolutions have you broken
This year I decided to only make a short list of new years resolutions, not to shop in a supermarket and er well that was about it. So far I have bought a bag of bannanas from the co-op and whilst down with a 5 week long bout of the flu I had to call up Sainsburys and have some food delivered.
Incidently, the food that was delivered seemed so alien to me that I realised how long I have not shopped at supermarkets! All perfectly shaped, no dirt on it and it just looked a bit wrong.

Re: How many resolutions have you broken
I have done really well this year - but then I only made one - and that was to not buy any new clothes only second hand or "eco" clothing.
And as "eco" clothing is so very expensive - so far I have spent 10 euros on an organic cotton shirt in the sales, and have bought two second hand tunic tops for a couple of euros at a car boot.

2010 is my year of projects - 365 days and 365 projects.

Re: How many resolutions have you broken
I haven't broken my resolution yet, but that's only because i was too disorganised to start it!
My resolution was to sew together the monkey i've been kntting for 2 years. It took me 3 months to knit him, and the rest of the time, i keep picking him up to sew him together and then putting him down for something more interesting...
However, because i was disorganised and i forgot to pack him to bring him back here to do, i haven't technically started my resolution, so i haven't broken it! Ask me on New Year's Eve!!

Re: How many resolutions have you broken
You'll have to ask me on New Year's Eve too, because my only resolution was to get this place sold and over to RoI. (It's still not finished or on the market, so watch this space)

Re: How many resolutions have you broken
I'm inclined to say 'none because I don't make any', but secretly I think I do set myself goals without trying to verbalise them. I've never liked hard and fast goals (they're for other people and for work). I prefer to be going in a general direction with the possibility that many out comes could be the right one - I'll know when it happens.

Nothing worse than sewing knitted things together. I keep looking at a pattern for a Dalek, and I know I'd be able to knit him ok but when I'd sewed him up he'd probably look more like a Klingon.the.fee.fairy wrote: My resolution was to sew together the monkey i've been kntting for 2 years.

Re: How many resolutions have you broken
The only one I made this year was to be happy Earlier in the year there were a few times when so much seemed to go wrong that it was almost difficult not to break my resolution but, so far, I think I can honestly say, it's still intact.
