I've been busyish being selfsufficientish

Post: # 206160Post liskeardjane »

I've been on holiday for the past few weeks and have had fun using up recycled materials and making jams and chutneys. I don't have much money but I've made do with either what I've found, got for free or at very little cost.

Oh I so wish I was good at sewing! I love the quilt!
Let us be lovely
And let us be kind
Let us be silly and free
It won't make us famous
It won't make us rich
But damn it how happy we'll be!

I envy you the airing cupboard space, ours is pathetic! Lovely quilt. When we moved house I got rid of a huge bag of material pieces and boy, do I regret it now :( . We had so much stuff to move we had to get rid of loads......but the charity shops did well out of us. Now trying to re-stock but it takes time. Great bunting too  .
