New shop!

I've mentioned a few times that we've been working hard over the winter to swap the shop and workshop areas round.

Here's my before and after shots.

Before

and after

We did every bit of it ourselves - which being complete newbies at joinery was no mean feat!

I'm just getting a bit fed up of everyone congratulating OH on a job well done when I did easily half the work as well as designing it all in the first place and making everything that's for sale  :angryfire:

Mrs F, if you look very closely at the crocheted stuff, you might recgnise a bit of the wool

I'm nearly ready - just need to put out price labels and turn the sign round. I have to be honest, I'm more nervous about this season than when it was just my grotty old cabinets

I didn't realise the pictures would be small - they're on Flickr

How do I upload bigger ones?

Looks Great.

Wow! What a difference! That looks really brilliant - you should be very proud of yourselves.

Big pat on the back for making it look so lovely.

Just had a peek and it looks amazing! I bet you're thrilled.

Have to say, that's a beautiful view out of the window as well!

Looks really inviting, well done! Wish I could visit, but its a long way from London... I do envy your view, I get fed up of staring across the road at number 88!
Good luck with the season!

Thanks folks.

I'm really surprised anyone bought anything before. The shop area, before the swap round, was quite dark - with a lovely view of my neighbour's grundies on wash day

Returning customers and my neighbours have all commented on how lovely it is. So it makes it all worth while.
