Rhubarb crumble

Post: # 273341Post Pumkinpie »

I have just picked a fantastic bunch of rhubarb at the allotment, I feel a rhubarb crumble with a difference coming on. I think I will add a little ginger and sugar to the rhubarb and top it with cake crumbs from a date cake that has dried out a little and needs using. Picking and using the first crop of the season always lifts my spirits. Yum yum!

Mmmmm... Come and share it with me please. I love rhubarb but the rest of my family think I am weird. It also is sooo expensive in the shops.

My crumble was yummy but the lid fell off the ginger and it was pointed out that possibles a little less ginger next time would be I good idea.
In fact I might have a little of the left overs now as a afternoon snack.
