Made some rather good fruit loaf/bread yesterday.
1 herman friendship cake starter
500g strong bread flour
5g salt
250g water
mixed spice (or your choice eg cinnamon)1 used 1 teaspoon but could take more
1 mug mixed fruit soaked overnight in apple juice (or water)
Made as a 'normal' loaf and added fruit after 1st rise. Took hours to prove but I'm in no hurry.
Not a tea bread which is moist/sticky, uses egg and tea, but sweet fruity bread.
