chocolate concrete
16oz plain flour
10oz butter (it works with vegan alternatives too)
10oz brown sugar
4tbsp cocoa
1tsp of vanilla extract (not essence)
Set oven to 180C/350F/Gas Mark 4, cream the butter & sugar together, sift in the flour & cocoa, knead into a dough & ad the vailla essence & knead some more, grease & line a baking tray, flatten out dough on baking tray, sprinkle with caster sugar & place in the oven for 20 minutes, cut into fingers before fully cooled, serves 8 if you let it & don't start stabbing people with a fork to stop them eating it

Re: chocolate concrete
oooh looks fab. I think i'll have to make some to take into work on Tuesday. I also see a day's baking coming up!
Got to make cinnamon rolls, brownies and cupcakes.
Going to look for a solid looking chocolate fudge browie recipe. I've made normal brownies before, but i want the sickly solid fudgy ones this time!
