I was wandering round the bookshops in Hay checking out the gardening sections and came across this book. Instantly it grabbed my attention as it was full of great pictures for projects to do with kids in and around the garden, and things you'd happily have on display after.
Some ideas are planting veg and flowers, others are more like craft projects. It's nicely set out, photography and explanations are great and I immediately started looking for raw materials. It really made me feel excited to spend time with my kids with some inspiring ideas, more than just your average Blue Peter things!
I've already made the scarecrow, and although I probably could have worked out how to make it myself, I've had my garden over a year and I made "Spud" the day I bought this book, and I'm looking forward to doing more over the summer.
