Council tax - one of the reasons I left. Mind you, plenty of rif raf here too, but mostly I only suffer from aural pollution.
@Lilia - what does the neighbour have to say about it? Have you tried having it out with them?

Makes me angry too - there are 2 lots near me that do it, not to mention another who owns the field behind that has his enormous pile of horse manure smouldering constantly. Grrrrrr is right, I can't believe some people!!

Have you tried talking nicely to them? Explaining why it bothers you? Making friends with them? They in turn may also have objections to things you are doing - not reasonable ones of course.
