excellent idea!
- if you want a really simple way of selling online, there is always the dreaded "Paypal Buy Now" button system - very simple to set up using ordinary html - you do lose on the charges though, 20p per transaction plus 3.9% (about 40p total on a £5 bag) - I believe "Nochex" an English company do something similar
http://solarwind.org.uk - a small company in Sussex sourcing, supplying, and fitting alternative energy products.
Amateurs encouraged - very keen prices and friendly helpful service!

Isn't there a 'free' paypal account that you can use to collect money from people with cleared funds in their own paypal account... always used to be...

NO chex you have to initially pay £50 and still pay a commision. I am seeing if we can sell the bags first by the old mail order method and passing on the saving to our members. We were going to sell the bags for a bit more but I thought it better this way.

There is not a charge for you to pay or take money out of your paypal account if you have over £50 to take out. - imagine how much they must earn in interest on all those £49.

Also if you are using there service to collect payments there is a charge like martin says. It means I would have to sell the bags for nearer £4. which I think is too much.

Do you have a picture of the bags, or even a mock up of what they will look like.

Ho yuss,I'll take 4. Cheque on the way. Don't worry if you're left with some of these, just remind everyone coming up to Xmas and they'll sell through easy. I can think of a few people would love one!

*update* can you post how much to add for larger amounts... say up to ten? I can't find my cheque book *pouts* but I'll get that off to you at the weekend.
