Well, just in time (I think!) here are the pics of my favourite save money project that we've done this year.

The granddaughter had outgrown her playhouse & one of the roof panels got damaged from a fallen tree. So we inherited it when we got the lambs & with a few adjustments, we made a night-house for them. Although it looks ramshackle, it's watertight & quite warm & cosy in there!

8 weeks later, the lambs have become too big for it. They prefer to sleep outside the back door nowadays, so it has now moved on & is the new duck house....oh, and Leah has decided that she likes to play in it again as well!!







I wonder what it will become next??

Hi all.

These are my others - no idea if they are in time but you can have them anyway.

The first is the bird scarer. For each one you need:

1 wire coat hanger
1 plastic drinks bottle - small (330ml) or large (2ltr) it doesn't matter. They must have their lids.
1 hollow bamboo stick or tent pole - or similar.

Tools:
drill and drill bit - to suit diameter of wire hanger
stanley type knife - sharp enough to cut plastic bottle
Marker pen to draw on plastic bottle.

The instructions are easier to understand with a video than write and read but because I am not in possession of my vid-camera I can't post a video. I promise I will do very soon.

Another idea is the the seed waterer - it's so simple.

Take a plastic bottle unscrew the lid and get a compass (the type used for drawing a circle) and put 10-12 (tiny) holes in it. Fill it with water and shake it over your seedlings - Don't squeeze.

Thanks for the extended deadline but I've missed that as well. Just not been able to get on the net due to pain till now.

I'll not enter now Dave thanks a lot because if I won then there could be a genuine grievence from those who did follow the rules.
