Not a brilliant photo, taken with my iPhone. BUT I HAD A BUTTERFLY ON MY HAND !!!!!!
Lol sorry for shouting, we hardly get any butterflies in my little yard.

I'm impressed - you've taken a photo with one hand while balancing a butterfly on the other! I love the echo of the colours between flower and butterfly too.

I don't think it's a prize winning shot tho ! I never win anything. But I love it, I was so pleased with it.

They need to be maximum 700 pixels wide to appear in the post and yours are much bigger. Nice though! :thumbright:

i was so pleased to get that pochard shot - total fluke of course (or perseverence! i took about a hundred shots to get that one.... thank god for digital cameras!)

Quite right, it's the taking part and sharing that is the important thing. I love seeing the photos from other Ishers.

Anyway - a warning that my next photo is a little gruesome but what the heck, I'll post it anyway. I doubt it's a prizewinner either but it sure does show the darker side of nature.
