Post: # 277112Post vancheese »

Hi people

I've two nice sheepskin rugs which after a wash in the machine, smell a little cheesy and off. Does anyone have a tip on how to make them smell nice and clean

Hi

My eldest son once emptied a cup of milk over the carpet on a hot day. I didn't find out till we got home after being out all day. Bleurgh :pukeright: It was an internal hall with no window. I scrubbed and cleaned to no avail. Then I bought some Neutrodol shake and vac type stuff, drowned the carpet in it, left it a while before vacuuming. It worked  Bicarbonate of soda might be worth a try as that absorbs smells otherwise wait for some good weather to do as doofa suggests.
