Hello all from New Zealand
Hello from "Clean Green" New Zealand, the land of Milk & Honey downunder.
My main interest is with the Elderberry tree.
I have in the past made many beverages from this wonderful plant.
I believe this tree is very much under valued for its medicinal qualities.

Hi there from a pom now in NZ. where abouts are you, I am in canterbury. I have a couple of elderberry trees, but the climate where I am is too dry (officially the lowest rainfall in NZ) and they survive, but do not flourish, though perhaps I should take cuttings and get a few smaller trees and stick them in the orchard which is on irrigation.
Why don't you start a new thread in the appropriate section devoted to the use of Elderberries - the poor mans medicine chest.

Opinionated but harmless

Hello and welcome.
I had an ex-boyfriend from NZ (he called his hometown Wellington-Nowhere). I think he still lives in London. I miss the antipodean scene in London ("Church" on Sundays!) I miss L&P which he brought back from one return home to NZ.
