Hi folks. I've just joined. I've always been interested in self sufficiency and it's really exciting to be in touch with like minded people. I only have a postage stamp sized garden, but i am going to do my best to use it to its full potential.

 and welcome. My garden is not big either, last year grew beans and peas in pots. This year planning to use the front garden as well.

A postage stamp sized garden is ample  Remember you can grow upwards as well.

Welcome! !
I'm also lacking space and going for first year trying to be as selfsufficient this year as well, amazing how much space you can find! I hope you find as much inspiration here as I have!

Just figured out how to add a photo. I'm the one without the beard, by the way. My partner is Mad Malc, he's a tattooist and is in no way interested in self sufficiency. In fact you guys are the only people I know who are! So I will probably be relying on you for a lot of moral support. :?

Hi Karen Grace and welcome to the site! I'm sure when you start feeding Mad Malc some of your wonderful freshly picked produce he'll change his mind!

Thats the plan Shirley. At the moment he will only leeks and onions, he won't touch anything else except green beans and baby carrots out of a tin. I'm hoping to get him involved in the growing so he will try other things.
He did help me level the ground for our new compost bin ( which we got from worcester county council for a tenner) so theres hope yet!
