Now there's a town I recognise from having lived a lot of my childhood down the road in Kings Sutton. Your allotment prices aren't bad at all. Mine is only reasonable because I get it half price due to being of pensionable age - however I suppose that £40 full rate rising to £47 next year is not so bad in context.

Good luck with the growing. You can grow an awful lot on a half plot though can't you?

Galashiels Allotments. Situated in the Scottish Borders our sites both afford stunning views of the surrounding areas. We have around 32 plots in total over two sites. Rent is £20.00 for a full plot and £10.00 a year for half. All plots are 10 rods and within a short distance of each other. Look good. It's the best feeling when you take the first bits of food you've grown yourself. Love it.
