Student, back garderner in Leeds
First year of any independent growing (Dad grows potatoes and rhubarb)
Currently growing potatoes, onions and broad beans, attempting to get some salad crops the whole way through

You should be OK with the salad crops - they're difficult to stop unless you forget to water them.
