Hello from Hampshire

Post: # 251787Post timc1960 »

Hi there, thought I'd say my hello's sooner rather than later.
Bit about me, well I'm just a shade over 50 and at the moment my growing is restricted to my garden.
I did have an allotment for about 3 years which was only a couple of miles from where I used to work, but a change of office meant that it was then a 90 minute round trip, so I gave it up. My local town are saying they are going to open up about 50 plots as part of a new development, trouble is the waiting list is now over 400 names
Still, I keep my hand in with some stuff in a raised bed, a few large tubs, some potato bags and a greenhouse.
Got the log burner going tonight so I'm going to leave it there for now, pour myself a whisky-mac and read some more catalogues. Mmmmmmm, seeds
Bye for now
Tim

Hi there and welcome
Let us be lovely
And let us be kind
Let us be silly and free
It won't make us famous
It won't make us rich
But damn it how happy we'll be!
