self sufficient(ish) sums me up. we try really hard in our home to create/grow/find what we need. but we do need to buy stuff too.
the citizens in our republic currently number 8, 4 chickens, a cat (the pirate) a high speed stunt baby and a mama and a papa.
we like growing stuff which is how i got here: google & chickpeas...

Kia ora/Hello and welcome to ish.
Only other kiwi I know is my daughter-in-law, who is in Manurewa.
You will find loads of great info on this site and everyone is really helpful and friendly.

Hi Im another Kiwi, from Hanmer Springs living in Oxford UK. I cant wait to get back into my garden and our awesome out door life! (and outrageous fortune!) the sites given me heaps of ideas to try soon as i can :flower:
