Hello from France

Post: # 9369Post Steve Hanson »

Hello all

Fiona my wife and I are working at being self-sufficient in the middle of France, it’s working very well so far. We are fully self-sufficient in food and heating material i.e. wood for our Rayburn and log burning fire. We have been here for less than 18 months and we are enjoying it very much.

Look forward to getting to know some of you.

Best wishes to all of you in your endeavours to be self-sufficient-ish

Excuse me???

Anyway, hi and welcome, wherever you live!

And I agree, self sufficient in food in 18 months... That's quite an achievement! I just about manage to grow all the potatoes I need, but that's only because I don't eat a lot of them...
