Buying seeds

Post: # 251162Post chadspad »

Can I recommend a supplier of seeds on here? I have used Premier_Seeds_Direct via Ebay for the past 6 years and the seeds have always been fantastic and worked! They charge a flat rate for postage regardless of how many packs of seeds you buy - 75p for UK. They also post worldwide which has been handy for me being in France and have a wonderful selection of seeds.

Just a heads up for those that want to buy seeds :flower:

I've used

http://www.nickys-nursery.co.uk/garden-shop/seeds/

They have a good selection and some varieties that are difficult to source in my experience. Good service and the seeds grew well.

Also I buy quite a lot from Poundland. I like their variety packs, six different seeds for a pound. Useful because often you get far too many in single packs - like lettuce.

I'm afraid I wait until I go to England or get my children (who still live there) the get my seeds. We seem to be ripped off over here in ROI if not on prices then on P&P. Amazon wanted to charge me £20.00 for P&P for 4 ink cartridges but when I had it sent to my mother's house (also in England) p&p was free!
Treat the earth well, it was not given to you by your parents, it was loaned to you by your children.
