Is it too late to plant spuds?

Outside you will probably be ok with earlies, don't bother with main varieties.

Sorry, bit behind when it comes to spuds! Does that mean I wont be able to eat them til next year? Im just going to use eating spuds that have sprouted - thats what I usually use but forgot to plant them this year!

If you plant early varieties they will produce a crop before the frosts and perhaps the blight hit. Main crop varieties if planted now will be hit before they have produced anything. Under cover you can plant any type.
