Patience! If it's still alive, I would expect something from it. Does it look like it's still alive?
Cheers

Will be picking cauliflowers and calabrese (broccolli) this week, but my PSB are not showing any signs of flowering yet.

Mine neither...I thought the pigeons nibbled them off, but perhaps they just haven't flowered yet.

Have netted them now, so just try it now you feathery fiends!!

I was given a whole load of Psb seedlings last ear. quite leggy, anyway, they grew fine... but ot decimated by summat, so chopped thm down. However, I left some stalks ( as wouldnt fit in bag all other stuffwas in) these have rsprouted loads of leaves.

Are they likely to actually produce some PPSB?

I dont mind either way, as I like the leaves anyhow, raw and cooked! just be interesting to know awhta to xpect!

I imagine so Niknik, if they are still growing. Mrs Flib it is way too early for PSB, only the beginning of February!!!!!

Mine is still alive so I am eternally grateful and hope we don't have a really cold spell still to come. So looking forward to eating it in April!

This morning I picked my first 3 sprigs of white sprouting  Its about 2-3 weeks ahead of Purple and the purple looks hopeful. 2 people did tell me yesterday that there is national shortage of psb, so we should count ourselves lucky we all look hopeful :grouphug:

Harisimow, your veg plot looks so similar to mine. My PSb is in a similar state at the mo too. Mines very slow growing, it's teasing. I can see so many perfectly formed little shoots that just aren't getting any bigger.

Aren't you eating some of the leaves while you're waiting for the flowers? They're delicious.

No need Maggie, I have several Savoy cabbages to eat before they bolt and Russian kale and spring greens off the B. sprouts and turnip greens and sprouting pak choi and spring cabbages and calabrese and beetroot and parsnips and a load of potimarron and butternut squashes still.
Plus all the stored veg.
You (or, we) can only eat so much veg you know.

I was eating some of mine, I like them steamed or as crisps. Sadly, the netting blew off during the last winds we had and the pigeons left me with skeletons of leaves. :angryfire:
