Hi whitu10 and welcome to Ish.

Not sure what you're referring to the product or planting garlic. It's a very old thread and I've never seen the product on general release so I'm guessing not.

Interplanting with garlic is a whole different and huge topic - companion planting can, I think, be very beneficial but not all plants grow well together. I don't think the allium family (onions, garlic etc) combine successfully with everything.

Onion, garlic and carrots grow well together.
I'm always bothered with carrot root fly but this year absolutely none. So either the root fly is now extinct in West Cork or it's because I grew them surrounded by onions and garlic.
