Picked the first ripe tomatoes this afternoon.
I could have picked some a lot earlier, but didn't have a need and so they kept getting left. Today two of them were dead ripe and if left any longer would have started to go wrinkly.
I would almost guarantee that we were the only people in the British Isles to have cheese sarnies and sun warmed freshly picked tomatoes for lunch today. :iconbiggrin:

Amazing. My indoor tomato thing is not going too well, the plants have flowers, but that is a far as it is going, I have pinched out the tops of some, I seem to have one bush and the rest I think are broad ripple yellow currant, which is huge and rambling. I will keep at it, whatever happens, I will have some quite good sized plants which even if I harvest side shoots to make more plants will be worth having

Impressed much, mine are still little seedlings, they will be good for earlies I hope
