And it seeds like anything which explains why it pops up everywhere. Nearly as prolific as dandelions but easier to root out.

I seem to remember that it's called "White man's foot" in America, for that very reason Flo, everywhere the white men walked, plantain started growing.
Although it's probably one of those urban (or rural in this case) myths.
