Seed collecting

http://www.durgan.org/URL/?WMBQU 14 July 2012 Seed collecting to insure they are mature
To insure any collected seeds are mature, the seed head is wrapped in row cover material to prevent any seeds from dropping. The cloth is open to air and Sun and is little affected by rain, hence interferes little with the plant growth. The sample is a second year parsnip plant.

What, if anything are you doing to make sure you're getting true varietal seed? Assuming that is what you're after.

I'm not fussy and take what nature provides.
