Worksop Allotment

Post: # 178678Post AAllen »

Hello everyone,

i am new to this site. I am currently trying to get a plot for my dad as a present for christmas, hes very green fingered after his success of veggi growning in the garden.

I have been trying to get a plot sorted in worksop and having no such luck, i have rang the plots on stubbing lane and trying to get them to show me the plots available or even to speak to someone is currently not happening. So can anyone else help me?

Thanks.

Hi AAllen

Allotment Committees are exotic beasts and work slowly and strangely. Your best bet, I would have thought, would be to go to the allotments and have a look around for anyone working on their plots. Have a word with those people. I'm not sure, though, if it would be allowable for someone to take out a plot for someone else, if you see what I mean. I think it probable that your Dad would have to apply in person.

Best of luck, though.
