I think you got off quite lightly wildbee(although it might not have seemed so at the time )My whippet puppy would've dragged it off the chair,chewed it ,dragged it round the garden and only then tried to swallow it all (i'm not kidding!
What breed of puppy have you got?

passiflora is often included with hops and valerian as a mild sedative in herbal teas and medicines,can't say i've tried the tea though x

And actually my nasturtiums haven't been touched either and not far from the kale (and taking over lol)

just saved my kale seedlings which were infested,by spraying with water in a washing-up liquid bottle,which dislodged the little blighters,picked them out and chucked them over the fence :-)may need to repeat a couple of times.middle leaves of seedlings are now sprouting like mad as outside leaves h...
