Re: Labels

i think PVA glue would be good to stick a label to a bottle - it peels off nice and easy for re-use and sticks better than a glue stick. m&s now only seem to have 'bastard bottles' was scrubbing for ages but gave up and stuck them in the recycle bin! barrs bottles (fizzy drinks) are so easy to p...

Re: Toxic overload in todays society!

i suffered for years with similar problems - which were as bad as i get the urge to go and i HAD to go no holding it in and it meant not much of a life. oddly when i was pregnant it drastically improved ( as did other things which were to do with my hormones) which led me to believe it is associated...

Re: sustainability...

Re: sustainability...

i agree with the sterility of produce - a bit of dirt is always good and a doctor even told me that with the little picking his nose and well you know ... is actually GOOD for him as it gives you a 'hit' of bacteria filtered out by your nose... now i dont know weather or not to take his word as gosp...

Re: sustainability...

we do have a problem with the current population and with the forecasts on population increases sustainability really is (to me) much much more important than any intellectual/moral ideal with regards to only eating a vegan diet. but thats not to say animal welfare isnt important - it is but we can ...

Re: Skills you're most proud of

(Also, all you people who are good at cuddling are just better and nicer people than me. I'm famously un-tactile. Although in a perverse way this seems to make other people more affectionate with me, I think they have a secret scorecard on which I'm some kind of trophy. Paranoid, moi, surely not). ...

Re: sustainability...

As a vegan, I would love it if I could both be vegan and live sustainably. And I try my best at both. However, I understand the implications of sustainability well enough that, when circumstances eventually force us to live truly sustainably, complete veganism may be an unreachable ideal. As an exa...

its a word everyone seems to be using these days! i was having a chat with a (very) vegan friend of mine about the meat industry and that ( as far as hes concerned veganism is the way to solve the worlds ills) - for the record im not anti-vegan just confused! now he insists on avoiding all animal pr...
