Re: Making pasta
Oh i really want a bread oven in my garden, was seriously considering building one, thats a project for the future though. Im jealous! :) They don't do self raising flour here either but you can just add baking powder to the plain flour to make it self raising. Should i use plain flour then for the ...

Re: Making pasta
I have tried the pasta maker on many occaissions but fail to get the right consistency any fool proof recipes please? Hi Becks77, Recipes are always difficult because you never know how absorbent the flour is or how large or small the eggs are, so you have to learn to do it by feel. Here's my metho...

Re: Seats reserved exclusively for men in the House of Lords
Religion in politics is dangerous. Just look at the woman who died in Ireland after being refused an abortion when she was miscarrying because the catholic church have power in deciding the laws of the country and they conciser abortion of a bundle of cells as murder which you will go to hell for. T...

Re: suspected fungus on sweet potatoes
I found my camera and the USB cable so i'v got pictures now. I cut off all the bits with the wee opaque balls/droplets or whatever they were and they've not come back. But the leaves are still turning yellow and wilting, see picture. My husband thinks thats just what they do, or maybe they don't hav...

He's missed a trick there. You'd have thought he'd have launched it before the book came out.

What? I don't understand that.
I have heard about this though. Seats shouldn't be reserved for any religious leaders. Religion shouldn't be involved in politics.

Re: weight loss 2013
I think the research so far seems promising. I made cookies just now, but i halved the recipe ( didn't have enough sugar ) so i didn't make as many, but i still ate 4 of them. Will be fasting tomorrow  The fasting thing is not strictly fasting. You are still allowed 500 calories, or 600 for men...

Re: weight loss 2013
I'd be interested to read any study's done on humans. Im debating wither or not to make some cookies. I don't think i'v got enough sugar though. Probably best to give it a miss.
