Around here,a small turbine powers many of the road signs.I've never heard them criticized for their appearance.Why would they be more of an eyesore than powerlines,neon signs,inhabitants of Kidderminster etc..?

My days of ''It's not worth growing Maincrop cos they're cheaper to buy by the bag'' are history.This year I'm going for the lot.
Must say ,though that a significant reason for growing spuds is the great tilth it creates.So earthing up is important to me.

Not so bonkers cooking pigs heads.
My reward for brawn making was always the pig cheeks..the best part of the entire animal.Haven't had any for 3 years,when the last pigs went.
