Wow such kind offers

I am still in need of some seeds but ive been buying cheap packets of seeds from netto and aldi.

So if no one else is in need of them i will take them.
If i dont get chance or room to grow them this year then im sure they will have pride of place in my seed bank.

I cant belive led bulbs are exploding like this. I have never taken one apart but i would think that they consist of a 240v to whatever voltage dc transformer that supplies the leds and the only way they should ever blow is if they get given to much voltage as current is drawn not supplied. Do you s...

Poundland sell water pumps that are designed to run from an electric drill ive had a play with one attaching it to a savonius rotor made from and old coffe tin and it pumped water quite well when the wind gusted. So if you combined that with a header tank i should imagine it would do the trick. I ma...

Thanks for all your kind words people.

I think i will go and see the head teacher and explain whats happend.
I will suggest that it might be a good idea for the school to start a gardening club as an interesting means of educating the children about where our food comes from.

I try and buy in bulk whenever i can.

The one problem i have is i cant find anywhere that sells stuff in enough bulk as i like.

What shops does everyone else use to buy in bulk from.

Ive considerd cash and carries but ive been told you need to have a registerd buisness to be able to buy from them?

My daughter came home from school today quite upset. Upon enquiring why she was so upset she explained that other children had been calling her stupid. Now heres the unbelivable part they were calling her stupid because she was telling them about us growing vegtables in the garden and the other chil...

Wanted

I know its a long shot but does anybody have a food dehydrator they no longer need.
I would be very greatfull if someone could sell me one at a reasonable price as all the ones i have looked at are well out of my price range at over £50.
