2012 review and apologies!
sorry I've not been on much this year, it's been a hell of a time..... we've withdrawn soph from school, moved house and I had to leave some of my beautiful plants behind. If anyone fancies sending me some Ramsons bulbs, I'd appreciate it lol. I had a lovely patch going at the old house.... anyway, ...

Re: insulation of a second hand greenhouse
nope, I am just looking at normal seasonal veggies, but with a lower failure rate than I've experienced before, so knowing I don't need to insulate is awesome thankyou! I'm planning tomatoes, cucumber and various chillis as we're all big chilli fans in this house. I also want to grow some michelmas ...

Re: Home Schooling
most of the HE groups round here work on either a sliding scale, so you pay according to how many kids attend. for instance the meadowfields group last week had 15 attendees, so it only cost us £3 each child. the others charge just what they need to cove hall hire costs and materials, for instance m...

Re: Parents hold 'not back to school' picnic
most of the groups round here hold those parties lol. but I agree wih the welsh sentiments and am really worried at the moment because if wales and scotland go into regulation, what's going to happen to us in england? one of the reasons I took sophie out of school was exam stress! if we're going to ...

insulation of a second hand greenhouse
I won a greenhouse on ebay. it's my 30th birthday pressie from the husband, but I'm getting it a couple of months before my birthday lol.
anyway., I know you "need" to heat and/or insulate a greenhouse, but how can I do this for as little as possible? and preferably for free?
thaaaanks!
