Re: Is it too late?

Oh?Last year GA,my pumpkin seeds were slow to germinate for some reason. They took though well enough in July, but unfortunately I did'nt get to harvest any fruit as the frost killed them before they were large enough! :( Is there such a thing as frost resistant plants?

Re: High street shops

We have a computer shop in town, only been opened a year. Most of their trade is fixing computers.A while ago,on a Saturday morning,I was having issues with my laptop.Drove to the shop with laptop,to find they are not open on Saturdays. It could'nt wait so I drove to the next town, which also has a comp...

Re: High street shops

I live in a small town.Just had a 2nd Vape shop opening. Not sure how long that'll last.I'd love to be loyal to the town and shop for what I need, but unfortunately they either don't stock what I need,or I can find it cheaper online.Last Xmas I decided to atleast try and do most of my Xmas gift shoppi...

Re: Worried about daughter/grandkids!

Re: Worried about daughter/grandkids!

I wonder if it might be worth you inviting your daughter and her children for a mini break to your place for a few days, saying it would be nice to be able to give her a little break from everything and then maybe have a frank conversation with her about what is going on and voice your concerns abo...

Re: Worried about daughter/grandkids!

Hi DND,yes I thought the uniform mention was a hint for us to pay.We don't have our grandchildren over to stay during holidays as they live 3.5 hrs away, and as the parents only have a small car(Which is too small for them all anyway now with 4 kids)they havent visited us for 2 yrs.No spare money for...
