New-ish to homebrew
A few yeas ago the hubby & myself made quite a few potent wines, but, we took shortcuts. We used bread yeast, didn't bother with citric acid/nutrient/pectolase etc and drank it way too soon! This time round I'm in charge & it's going to be done properly ;) My first question... Airlocks. Ther...

I picked 45 measley blackberries last night but picked 4lbs just under a month ago. What's left is rotting in the rain, such a shame

I've decide to wait & see how it goes before taking my dog out, it's absolutely pouring down here. Wouldn't care normally but i've got a 4 month old with a cold!

Clothing, kitchenware, records, a barely used 1950's sewing machine with all it's bits & pieces inc. keys for the casing and ornaments.

We have an outdoor wood burner and have cooked potatoes, red peppers, onions etc all wrapped in foil in the hot ashes. The most we've done with the 'hob' part is heat baked beans but I plan on using it more if we have a dry winter
