I put my complete location as such so that people will understand if I put in a post about what I am growing or doing at this time of year. I think I will edit it to also include my growing climate that maybe helpful to. Especially if anyone from another country is planning a trip out here :cheers:

Sarah my dear Grandad was an avide believer in this for all sorts of reasons. Tinea, Shared shower cubicles, smelly feet ect. So there has to be something to it. :flower:

Don't quote me Fairy but I am sure you pull them after flowering and braid the leaves so that several may be stored hung up in a dry cool place for later use. :flower:

I had some old toilets once I planted Herbs in them. I put old rags in the S bend part and into the bottom so the moisture would seep out and the plants would not have their feet to wet. Then filled them with good soil and put in Lemon Thyme in one and regular Thyme in the other with Oregano trailin...

I wash my hair once a week in the cooler months unless I have been in the garden and throwing the manure around but in the warmer months every second day. But I have so much of the darn stuff I dread the amount of water I use if it is really dirty. :flower:

I read once that if you wee around the drip line of citrus trees it gives them a boost. So I get #1 son and my partner to do the honours a couple of times a week each and the trees are looking a lot better. So I guess it is working.

I planted my individual cloves in June which is the first month of Winter down here and they are 7 up out of 9 this is the best time to plant them in my Sub-Tropical climate.
