I agree with pach, make rakia and trade it for things you like! Chem supply shop? - just say you want to cut it to make liqueur, or tell them it is for tinctures (it kind of is) just specify that you want aeziotropic ethanol

There are loads of suppliers, pp, all pretty much of a muchness. Googling soap making supplies (UK) brought up and I've bought from most on the first page with no problems. i spent an hour picking and de-seeding hips to dry out for making tea, poped them in the oven as it was cooling down to dry them out. Forgot to tell the dear GF and she went to make pizza the next day, not checking before preheating the oven - note to all: rosehip charcoal is VERY labour intensive!

A thought occurred to me Mike, if you have to rapid boil beans for 10 minutes to get rid of toxins, how does that work if you grind them up ?
